Lanky Fight Gear is a U.S.-based niche brand created specifically for tall and slim grapplers who often struggle to find properly fitting kimonos. The company recognized that standard sizing charts frequently left lanky practitioners with gis that were either too baggy or too short. Lanky set out to solve this issue by designing uniforms with extended wingspans, longer pant lengths, and tailored cuts that allow tall athletes to train and compete without compromise.

The brand’s focus is highly specialized, and this singular mission has made it a trusted name among its target audience. Beyond kimonos, Lanky also produces rashguards, shorts, and casual wear, maintaining a clean and minimalist design language that resonates with grapplers who value function and subtlety over flash.

By addressing a specific pain point in the community, Lanky has established itself as more than just a brand—it is a solution. Their gear empowers tall athletes to step onto the mats with confidence, ensuring that their training is about skill and performance, not struggling with poorly fitting equipment.
